What expenses can my limited company claim?
I want to make sure I'm claiming everything I'm entitled to without overstepping what HMRC will allow.

Generally, a limited company can claim any cost that's wholly and exclusively for business purposes, things like office costs, business travel, equipment, professional fees, software subscriptions, and staff costs, and these reduce your taxable profit before Corporation Tax is worked out. Some items have specific rules, such as mileage claimed at HMRC's approved rates rather than actual fuel cost, or a portion of home costs if you work from home. Personal expenses run through the company aren't allowable and can create tax complications, so keep receipts and check anything unusual with your accountant before claiming it.
